Great combo ticket!

My teen daughter made me book this combo ticket. She wanted to see the filming spots of her favourite TV show in the Orsay Museum, and I wanted to have a river Seine cruise. And, I'm so glad we did it! The museum is so much more than just a collection of Impressionists. Such a cool place, we took so many photos there! She loved Van Gogh and Monet's Blue Water Lilies also. On the cruise, we saw many important landmarks and we shared our special moment of bonding. A very comfortable boat and great views. We're happy to have this experience and would recommend it!

Perfect mix of culture and relaxation

It was one of those "I'm so happy I did this" moments! This is exactly how I felt after visiting the Orsay and having a Seine river cruise. I loved watching portraits made by Berthe Morisot, so delicate and fragile. And, I stayed with Van Gogh's Starry Night for a long time, trying to absorb all its beauty. Afterward, enjoying a Seine river cruise was so easy, and it was just what I needed. Floating past all the beautiful scenery of the city and under historic bridges was an ideal way to end the day. I'd highly recommend booking this combo!

About Orsay Museum and Seine River Cruise

MUSÉE D'ORSAY'S ARCHITECTURE AND ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS

Welcome to the Musée d'Orsay - one of the most important art museums in Paris. As you arrive at the museum at your chosen timeslot, first you will probably notice the huge nave and glass ceilings spanning down the middle of the building. Before becoming the Orsay Museum, the preceding structure in its place was the Orsay railway station. What's also special about the Musée d'Orsay is that it features an architectural section where you can find architectural and decorative drawings from some of the most significant names of the 19th century, such as Felix Duban and Victor Baltard.

EXPLORE THE LARGEST IMPRESSIONIST COLLECTION OF PAINTINGS

The main draw of this museum, and what it’s most famous for, are its Impressionist collections. Here you will be able to find iconic works from painters such as Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne, Gauguin, and many more. Van Gogh’s classics such as his “Self-Portrait” and “Starry Night Over the Rhône” are paintings that transcend the art world and could be the most recognizable in the collection - definitely the most famous Post-Impressionist paintings in the museum. The museum also features several iconic paintings by Claude Monet, widely regarded as the father of Impressionism. “Blue Water Lilies” and “Women in the Garden” are only some of the paintings featured from the iconic Impressionist.

RELAXING CRUISE ALONG THE RIVER SEINE

After touring the Orsay Museum and picking your timeslot for the Seine River cruise, the only thing left for you is to relax and take in the views from the river! Sit back and enjoy the peaceful cruise while listening to your audio guide and learning about Paris’ famous landmarks.
